Help? 2005 Van w/4R70W Problems
My van has 120,000 miles and has been slipping for too long about 6 months. It is strange as when you let off the gas after the trans has shifted into 3rd or o/d it will shift down and slip but, if I manually shift down to 2nd it engages fine. Well i did that for like I said too long and now it has progressed to slipping in all gears but reverse and when it does engage it slams, hard. it seems like a preasure issue but I dont know this is why I am asking. I realize that I should have dealt with this a long time ago but $$$$ has been my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I will be pulling the trany and either a rebuild or a junk yard unit will be going in if indeed it is the trany and not a sensor or??? Thank You in advance.
