Well seat part question. I'm trying to hunt down the little **** on the side of the seat that you turn, I'm guessing it's for lumbar or something like that. Mine was missing when I got the truck and its going to drive me crazy. I've looked on eBay, nothing. Went to parsguyed's site and wasn't able to track it down there either. The diagram wasn't too clear. So does anyone have an extra laying around or have access to one?
I went to www.fordparts.com, entered a "2000", "Ford", "Excursion", selected the "Body" category, then "Seats" sub-category, then typed "Lumbar" in the keyword box.
You SHOULD get the first part listed as "Seat Lumbar Support Cushion". If you view the part diagram, you get an option for the 40/20/40 front seat or the captain chair front seat. I'm assuming you have the captains chair...if you select it, you get an exploded view of the entire seat assembly:
When you zoom in on the part, the number comes up as 62622:
Now, the fun part is when you enter it in the "Keyword/Part Number" it doesn't come up, but that doesn't mean much. I found the door seal part number the same way, and the dealer can somehow find it even though the web site doesn't return anything.
Hope it helps.
Maybe you could find one in a junkyard? It seems like that **** would be used in something more than the Excursion/Super Duty line. I think the Expedition/Navigator would use it, as I think that part of the seat is the same design.

Times 2...I would put money on that, it looks and feels the same as my Expedition lumbar wheel.
Thanks Robert, I did see those earlier today. Not sure I'm ready to part with 60 bucks for this though... I haven't hit the scrap yards yet but I think that's going to be the cheapest bet.
