Plow questions
I'm having a new plow installed on my 09 F250. The truck does not have a factory plow prep package, but I do have the heavy duty battery and alternator as well as a power steering cooler. The truck also has a standard tranmission. What other things does the factory plow prep package come with? Thanks in advance.

Only thing you are missing is the heavier front springs. You will probably want to swap the front springs out for heavier ones, or install a set of air bags. Once the plow is on, check out how much the front drops with the plow raised. It might be ok the way it is, especially if you have the 'heavy service" package.
