7.3l
does the 7.3l have mechanical injection with a turbo and direct injection? we were talking about it in my diesel class today and i thought they had both cause the idi 7.3l is all mechanical as the powerstroke is all electronic. Correct me if im wrong but the powerstroke had more hp and tq but the nav star is little bit less confusing to work on then the powerstroke and im talking 94s i think as i said correct me if im wrong and heres the hp for them

From `88 to `941/2 the 7.3 was indirect mechanical fuel injection, came both with and without a turbo (turbo available for about last two years).
From `941/2 only the 7.3 Power Stroke was available. It had computer controlled fuel injection.
Both were made by Navistar but the only similarity was the cubic capacity.
