So since the super duties have the bigger injectors and are split shot... could I just let Wildman know that I am using those injectors when I get my TS reburned and then it will be an injector upgrade? Or does it not work like that? I have access to the SD injectors for free. Well just gotta trade my stock ones.
Well ours are 90 cc's and the SD's i believe are 140 CC's. Someone who knows for sure will chime in. Ive talked to people whove done it, just cant remember the numbers.
If they are free, go for it. You need to buy a set of orings. You should always use new orings when you put injectors into your truck. You will want to have your chip burned for split shots. You really should keep your single shots in case these don't run like you want. The timing is different between the two because of the split shot vs single shot so it might run a little funny.
I'm telling you all this from experience. I ran AB's in my truck for about 2 weeks. Didn't like them one bit and bought some stage 1 injectors instead. And no, SD injectors are nothing like going to stage 1's. It's like half assed stage .75

BUT if you have the chip reburned for the split shots it should work fine shouldnt it? Or will it still run funny even with the proper tune to back it up?
Tony does my tuning... I have no complaints with his tunes on the 1's and I'm sure he did his best with the splits. Just wasn't what I wanted. Don't let me make your decision. If you can get them for free, go for it, but I'm not sure I would give up your singles just in case...
The splits aren't gonna run well unless you upgrade the hpop. A 15* will not keep up with the ad's. I have ad's in my truck. I put a 17* in but it was weak. I now have a t500 and its night and day. They are a little smoky if you just stomp it. These being designed for the tighter SD housing doesn't help. I got a whole motor cheap so I figured I'd try em. My mileage went up a hair but my other injectors had a lot of miles.
Just give the tuner a heads up. When I get the funds I'm going to a set of 250/200s so these are temporary.

That's another thing, my mileage dropped way off with the splits in my truck.
