I just bought a 1975 f-150 explorer 2x4, I am 95% original with matching #motor, Would like to know where to go to get a report that will include production numbers of my truck. I want to know which direction to go with the restoration. Awhile back I saw an ad for a popular site and cant remember the name, sounded Italian (marconi, mazzelli, ? ) any way, I'll list my options and will be gratfull for any info. 460 cid,4 bbl carb, 3 speed automatic, 2 wheel twin I-Beam suspension, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, CUSTOM trim package, and I'm pretty sure it was original silver with a brown or black triple racing stipe down the side
Thanks for that, and I stand corrected (informed) on the "matching numbers" qoute, this is my first restore anything and I probably will incorectly use terms from time to time, but its all part of the game of old trucks and stuff, I love it, havent dones this since my teens and now im old(er) and this all brings back my youth. thanks again, Charles W.
