Vibration-rear
It is very slight, just wanted to know if there isa problem or an adjustment to be made. It runs near perfect otherwise. Thanks!

I had an 86 f-150 that would do the same thing when a u-joint was starting to go. At about 35 it would start to vibrate then would go away at about 40. I'm not sure of the exact way to check the ujoint because I alway's had the local garage replace them. I think you have to put the tranny in drive, not running of course, and set the parking brake so the drive shaft can't move. Then climb under there and see if there is any play or looseness at the joints. I know they're supposed to be tight with no play. Hopefully someone who knows the proper way will reply in case i'm way off track. I do know if it's in park the drive shaft will rotate some so it's hard to check that way. I have done that before.
Hope this helps some.

Hey Mike
Good thing Overkill read your post. I was way off huh?
That's why I work in a bank.

I think you're original post was a good diagnosis, and the easiest place to start. Checking and replacing the u-joints is simple and inexpensive, if that doesn't solve the problem, then you can go into the rear diff.
Lubing the slip yoke as Overkill mentioned is also a cheap and inexpensive job, it's just good preventative maintenance too.

This 20-25mph vibration is a separate problem I think. I will check the u joints and the rubber carrier bearing isolator. Like I said its minor, but if it's not right, I would like to fix it! Great input! Thanks again guys!

My 99' F-350 just recently (4 days ago) started a vibration, I stopped at a buddys garage and we checked it out, we found the slip yoke to have some play in it, all original 46, K miles on it,we jacked it up, spun the wheels, al seemed fine, (not a wheel bearing), then we ran it on the jack stands, in drive about 20 mph or so, we could see the slip yoke wobble some at certain points. So I will soon be checking out a new yoke set up, u-joints and carrier bearing all the same time,,this time all will be greasable
We could see the start of rust buggers coming out of one of the u-joints also....!later,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mark
