Alrite, my 97 f150 4.6 auto, transfer case is destroyed thanks to the previous owner. What and is there a transfer case that will interchange? I can get a great deal on a f250 peice. My truck has a 3 inch body lift and is a manual shift case. The great deal is free FYI. Any and all help is nice
Ps its a de and does not see hardcore off roading just websites and snow when it gets here.

Well they both have a 6 bolt pattern to bolt up to the transmission, but i have never laid 2 of those gaskets together to see if the pattern is the same size. You would definetly have to have a custom driveshaft made if the above worked out. Because the 250 has a flange for the rear output and the f150 has a slipyolk style. And we may not even be one the same page here. We are talking 250 superduty right? cause if it is a 250 light then the parts will interchange. You are just safer to get a transfer case that is made for it.
