Wow, where to do you start, finding these treasures now adays is like finding hen's teeth, usually get so psyched up it take me a few minutes to settle down. 3 speed on the column and it has a p/s booster, perhaps first item on my salvage shopping list would be the steering column and then go from there Thanks for sharing.
Hey there didnt know I had a local friend on here!!! We'll have to meet up! I might have a buddy that has the colum you need.
Disregard my PM i just read everything and saw that you need the hood oh well
Hey neighbor, have to hook up. As for the column, actually salvaged a p/s auto column should the T18 need repair. The 65 w/ the 390 is in Lebec, Ca, along with bunch of other Ford truck stuff. Intend leaving in day or 2 for few weeks, seem to recall having a hood that's not in bad condition, along with couple CC instrument clusters, etc, etc., guess would not be a bad ideal to take inventory of 'stuff'. THere's quite a few 61-66 Ford pickup owner's in my area, couple FTE members.
Went out today to see what I could get. Someone had already been there and took the bumpside tailgate, the seat, the instrument cluster, ripped out the driver's vent window, took the grille by cutting all the lower tabs and then left their calling card be smashing the rear window. *******!
I did get the brake booster and a very clean deluxe heater complete with a nice fresh air bellows. Got really lucky and was able to remove those bolts that hold the upper grille to the fenders. When I did mine they all broke off that staked nut in the back. Then an hour trying to get the bolts off the drivers fender. The hood was fun since there was nothing around to get it up front. Moved it the 100 yards at 5 yards a shot, then rest, then move again. That alone took me a 1/2 hour and then my right leg was killing me. Oh, forgot that the 3 speed tranny was not in the truck when I first saw it.
When loading my truck this guy was waiting out front for his buddies car with a chrome Cutlass bumper. He goes "nice truck" and then says these Ford trucks are the hot item for demo derbies. WTF!!! Just friggin' great. One reason you don't see many Mopar C bodies anymore is because they were popular for demo derbies. He also said 63-64 Galaxies were but they are now hard to find for him. He got the Cutlass bumper because it comes to a "V" in the front and is good for smashing into other cars.
4 inch...I have a hood equally as nice...undrilled for trim though...email or PM for more info...

Thanks! However Mike has offered the hood to me from the junk yard (Thanks Mike) Reps for both of yas! And to my local friend... Heck Reps all around yall are stand up guys!
Here's what I found at the junkyard last week. I was one of the first, so, I grabbed the gauges ammeter and oil, wiring harness(mint),defroster ducts, interior trim clips, vent window with latch (no more DUCTTAPE), wiper stanchions, tail light lenses and the light buckets from the 68 sitting next to it (I'm planning to hook the reverse lights to the brake light circuit /bright/), and some other trinkets. You are right, these trucks rarely show up and are even harder to find usable parts left on them when you do. This was the first one I've seen at this yard in years...
