Drivers Side Fresh Air Vent

Does anybody know where I can obtain a drivers side fresh air vent? I have a 1974 F100 4x4. When I bought the truck, there was only an empty space where the vent or vent cover should be. I've searched around the internet, but no one seems to have one.

Well compared to finding the usual compliment of mouse nests, leaves and 30 yr old dog hair behiiind the vent, I'd say you more or less broke even haha.

Anyway though, that's a definite junkyard part. Or just look up somebody with a parts truck on craigslist. They'll be thrilled to get 5 bucks for something like that. You may have to try a few, that plastic down by the feet gets banged up and brittle, but it shouldn't be a problem to find, and cheap!

Besides that, welcome to FTE! Be detailed, help out, and thank those that help you.

Have fun! AleX

Where do you live.
Maybe someone on the board lives in the next neighborhood or next county. Parts and/or resources may be closer than you think.

Welcome to

Good luck in your search.

Watch for a bust off vent handle too. Most of them are sheared off winch its right next to the E brake.

Thanks. I'll check out the junkyards. I live in San Mateo, so will probably have to travel to the east bay to find the nearest junkyard.

LMC carries those. They're like 40-something dollars though.
