Boost Defueling

Well since I put the AD's in I can push the stock charger way past 25 pounds it would make prior. It touched close to 37 or so which is when I backed out yesterday.

Would it benifiet to make a boost fooler?

What are the pros and cons power wise?

Thanks guys.

That's a lot of boost. Did you back out of it or did it defuel? Seems like I read out stock turbo is goo for 45 lb of boost but I stand to be corrected.

Our turbos' start to come apart around 35.

It sounded like a jet taking off. Thats as high as ive seen it go. I backed out. Because it was still going up. I can just see a shaft twisting. But I can tell it doesn't seem to pull as hard once i get to 25 lbs or so.

You don't need to make a boost fooler. If your truck was still pulling, it was still fueling. Superduty's defuel after like 24ish psi but I don't think OBS have the same issue.

It will get up and go. I haven't got the chance to take it down the strip yet. Curious to see what difference it made. But it will for sure set you back when you crack into it.

I don't think OBS trucks have defueling issues... I do know I finally watched my ICP and WOT I barely hold 1500, I need that T500.

I agree with Ian, I got a fooler and it didn't do anything. I took it off.

I do sometimes but its a pain to navigate especially when I'm at work and wanna check on stuff. The mobile theme is nice just not having sigs is my only complaint but I do understand why they don't.
