Hi guys I am trying to upgrade my cd player in my truck with a 6 disc factory one.
Original 6C3T-18C869-AB
New/Used 6 disc 6C3T-18C815-AA
I get a "PLAYER ERROR" when I go to use the cd button. It also tells me "SLOTS FULL" when I use the load button and I cant eject a cd. The radio works great. I have tried 2 different 6 disc players in my truck. I have a factory radio guide and it says I have the right part #'s for my truck. HELP! What is the problem?
I need a new radio, too. Mine is shot. Menu does not work. When I push CD button, volume increases. Scan does not work either way. I thought I wanted another OEM unit, but now I'm not so sure. I think I may go aftermarket. Just saying, you're not the only one with a worn out radio or CD. I would be affraid of spending money on a 6 disc CD, and then have the radio crash, which it will.

It happens on my 03 expedition. I just take out, break down and find out that it was a CD stuck and a little spring holding the different trail out. It toke-me about a hour. I hope you can fixed!
The problem I have is both of the new 6 disc players I bought give me this code and the people I bought both of them from said they work flawlessly. Anyone have any more ideas? I'm going to take that 6 disc apart but I thought I would check with you guys first!
