Quick Winch Bumper Question......

My buddy has a line on a used heavy duty winch bumper with 12,000lb winch, it is made for a 2005+ Super Duty, mounted on a 2006 currently.

He has a 2001 like mine......the question is, can it be mounted on a 2001 with some minor mounting mods?

He's worried that the fenders were lower on the 2005+ and there would be a large gap on the 01'.

Anyone know the differences between the model years?

Thanks

Steve

Should be ok... The grill is bigger on the 05's so there will be a gap inbetween the bumper and grill but he could just upgrade to an 05 grill and not have that problem. In my opinio it should be fine. The fenders are the same as far as i know and the mounting brackets should be the same.

X2 on the fenders being the same. we took one off a 2000 and put on an 05 when it got crushed.
