Don't panic yet. There are ways to work around this. When you say no power to the driver side post, you are referring to immediately after the key is turned on right? The power doesn't stay hot on the post very long if it's not cold outside. You do have power at the other large post, right? Check the smaller wires to see if one of them gets a ground signal when the key is first turned on.

Worst case scenario, you manually operate the GPR to make the glow plugs work.

Sorry if this is more simple than I'm seeing...I don't have a GPCM, just the shunt. Will the push button relay as pictured in a reply, still work?
