Is my engine missing?
99 7.3 208k. This only happens when its cold but ill be driving along and the rmps will drop a bit, the sound changes, press the gas pedal a little bit and it goes back to normal.
While this is happening you can also hear sort of a hissing sound. Kind of like what the exhaust makes when the truck is idling cold.
Does this sound like a miss? Where should I look?
The only code its currently throwing is P0603 but I have not recently unplugged my PCM or disconnected my batteries. I cleared the code, let it sit overnight unplugged. Started truck, it romped and bucked. The code came back.
