Axle trouble
Hey I need some advice on what to check here. I just did my ball joints and u joints on 2003 f250 4x4. I also replaced all the o rings and seals on the axle, hub, etc. On the axle i only replaced the dust seal and knuckle seal though. My question is when it was all back together i tried spinning the axle at the u joint and it was really tight, pretty tough to turn by hand. I didn't buy the "special tool" for the knuckle seal and just made my own but im wondering if i maybe pressed the seal in too far or not far enough? Everything went back together good. Im sort of thinking that could really be the only thing it could be. Would this be my problem? any advice on what to look for or check would be appreciated.
