Hey guys.
I am hoping to get some input about improving the look of our new x. We've had it in the driveway for a month or so and I just finished putting on new springs, bilsteins, hellwig, new wheels and tires... 1 day after completing the suspension job we hooked up our airstream and made a 2400 mile round trip Atlanta to Michigan.. Quite the first real test drive. It did great and my family loved it, although there are some changes we'll still make to the suspension.
So other than the 05 headlights, grill and bumper updates I intend to do, what else do you guys think should do?
Welcome to FTE!! Your truck looks great, not sure I'd change anything else but I like the clean look. Fill out your signature so we know how you're set up when you have questions, year, engine, mods, etc. While I hate mud flaps and don't have them myself, I'd think about adding those since you don't have running boards. Your doors are subject to many chips being naked like that.
I'd go through the board and start working on all the preventative maintenance jobs to lessen the possibility of a breakdown, especially since you're towing. There's a recent steering column wire fix that's a pretty hot topic right now. Again, welcome and enjoy your stay. We have a GREAT group of people here.
