So I have been tearing out the front end and found more reasons for slop and bad ride. The springs are worn out and compressed, the shocks are dead (i could compress them fully and they stayed there), and the bushings crumbled in my hands.
So my question is about shocks and springs. I'm wanting to do the Superlift 1.5" leveling springs in the front but not sure if I can use standard c-angle bushings?? I have read some say yes and some say no. Also what shocks are you guys running for stock use??
According to my research, zero to 2 inches of lift can use stock bushings, 4-inches of lift need 4-degree bushings, and more than 4 inches of lift require 7-degree bushings.
I installed RA drop brackets and still use stock, but polyurethane, bushings.
Yeah saw those, I had already bought all Moog bushings but I might try and return them to Advance. Thats a good price for all the goods, O'Reillys have just the SuperLift springs and want $220 for them alone.
