Just replaced the clutch master cylinder, line and slave cylinder in my truck. Since then, I can't shift into reverse without it grinding. Also my main goal in replacing the system was to make my clutch press easier. It improved slightly but didn't make much 'nicer' of a difference. I put a new clutch in in may so I don't know what else could be making it so tough to press. Any advice? Thanks

 

clutch pedal bushing worn or worn out, pedal shaft bushings worn out, cracked or broken clutch pedal box, cracked fire wall. lots of stuff to check inside the cab.

 

Ive replaced the pedal bushing. May be shaft bushings? Not sure, where can i get some? What do you mean by the pedal box? Firewall looked okay when i changed the master cylinder. Kit was pre-bled but id like to maybe bleed it myself except ive heard its a nightmare. Any experiences?

 

just about any parts store can get the shaft bushings, the last one I did I had to remove the pedal box and weld the hole and re machine it as the bushing had been gone for so long the shaft cut the metal.
the pedal box is the piece that the clutch and brake pedal rotate on!
