Rat Mobile

I have been having a problem with rats and mice chewing up my insulation and making nest. I have blocks of rat poison that I put the engine compartment. They eat it and die, others come back. Anyone know of a wait to stop this cycle. I have even sprayed the engine compartment with cougar and coyote urine but not help.
Thanks Greg

If you're man enough to make a cougar wet his pants, I'd think that the rats would be too scared to come near your vehicle.

Seriously, I've HEARD that moth ***** help. Also, they're not supposed to like steel wool, or crossing aluminum foil.

Greywolf had a thread about rodents some time ago (in garage and workshop, I believe). It was pretty active -- might try to find it.

good luck,

hj

I've got a couple old cars that sit about 10 months out of every year and mice can be a problem. I've always had good luck with boxes of D-con under and around the car. I don't put it inside the cars, because they will get inside to eat it and then you have to get their dead asses out.
