The truck that I purchased earlier this year, a 1999 Ford F250 Superduty Regular Cab V10 5 Speed 4x4, didn't have the front drive-shaft to operate the 4x4. So off I went to go hunt one down! I was under the impression that they were all universal from the Regular cab trucks to the extended cab, but I guess I was wrong. I purchased a drive-shaft from a gentleman who was parting out his 1999 Ford F250 Superduty Diesel extended cab. When I went to go put the shaft on, I found out that the one I purchased is something like 3 inches too long.
Does anyone know what the part number is to the drive-shaft I need for my truck?
Any leads for a drive-shaft for my truck would be great too!
Thanks for all the Help!

Wheelbase doesn't matter on the front shaft. What does is gas/diesel and auto/manual.
You need a front shaft from a 99-02 F250/F350 gas truck with a stick. A shaft place could cut, shorten, and balance that shaft although it would probably be cheaper to find the correct used one.
