rear arched leafs

I bought a set of 4 inch re arched leafs for my truck to dump off the blocks

I want to know from your experience what are the differences in the overall ride when using leafs rather then using blocks.

also wanted to know if this is an easy task to instal im going to attempt to instal them tomorrow thanks for any advice !!!

Spring rate will determine ride quality. Generally speaking most trucks with lift blocks will ride somewhat better than the same truck with lifted springs. Where you will notice the biggest difference is in axle wrap. The lifted springs will have faaar less of it.

4 u-bolts and 4 leaf spring bolts is all there is to it. Maybe the lower shock bolts if it starts to fight you a little. A good floor jack, two good jack stands and a good 1/2" drive deep well socket set is about all the tools you should need. Id spray everything down with Kroil or PB blaster a day before you begin to help out with rusty bolts. Depending on thread length you may need new ubolts. Its a pretty simple, very straight forward swap for your average driveway "mechanic."

It would be a good idea to have some new longer center bolts on hand and some spacers to level it off if it sits too low.

eeeh, just shove some pieces wood in there. 1x4 will give 3/4" lift and a 2x4 will give 1 1/2 - 1 5/8

Dang, I wish I still had the pic of the idiot that used some high quality red brick for lift blocks. He thought he was cool though...
