Need help with a measurement
Hey guys, I am hoping someone will be able to help me out with a measurement of length from the back of their cab to the center of the rear axle on a crew cab shortbed truck. I need this for a quote on a flatbed and I am in Iraq so I can't do it myself. I really appreciate the help!

You mean to tell us that you are dealing with a manufacturer who builds flat-beds for trucks, and they don't already KNOW that dimension? They sure as heck shouldn't have to ask you for that!

Marv, I didn't delve that deep into it. I think it is more a fact of them wanting to confirm I know what I am talking about. All of that is difficult to tell sometimes when dealing via email. I am not reading too much into it. This is a local company that I know does TONS of beds and work bodies. For everything from half-tons to big rigs.

The company I'm dealing with is located in Columbia, SC, so I'm not sure how feasible it would be for you, but they are W and W Bodybuilders. I would imagine there are places like them in about any decent sized city. Here is their link:
