i have a 2005 f250 and it started missing between 1500 and 2000rpms. i put a new ficm and egr vale in it but still missing bad please help. im about ready to burn it to the ground.

just had that fixed still having probloms

i was told that the turbo may need to be cleaned does that sound right

the truck is a f250 6.0 diesel and it stock

Need more info, like engine size and type, etc.

It's a 6.0L. He posted basically the same question in August, got told to check the FICM.

Got any guuges? Any CELs? All stock?

Maybe an injector? Sorry. that's the extent of my diesel knowledge.

Need to know if you have CELs or any codes. Is it just in those RPM ranges or more? Does it do it both in and out of gear?

Sounds like the problem i had. Seemed to run fine til 1500 and then fell on its face. Any turbo Fart sounds?

I cannot remember the codes mine had, but sounds like you need to pull the turbo and clean the vanes. Took me about eleven hours because someone tried it before me and rounded off two of the three bolts that hold the turbo on. we ended up having to weld on a socket to the back side bolt. We used a rearview mirror out of a wrecked car behind the shop to see. Had it stuck up against the firewall and had to try to figure everything out backwards.... It was a pain. Without any problems I have had a turbo off, cleaned and back on in about four hours.
