rear axle
How do I identify which axle I have? I believe the truck is a Ranger XLT, walnut finish everywhere, it has 8 bolt stud pattern, also how easy is it to change front & rear to 5 stud so I have a wider variety of wheels to choose from?

If original, it's a 16 spline Dana 60
You want to change from 3/4 ton running gear to 1/2 ton running gear so you have a wider variety of wheels from which to choose??? there's tons of 8-lug wheels available in the aftermarket, how often do you change wheels anyway.
