wheel lug pattern sizes
Looking for wheels for my truck and there is a 8/ 6.5 and 8/165.1 lug pattern are they the same or is there some difference.I know they changed to 8/170 in 97 or 98

They are the same: 8 on 6.5 inches or 8 on 165.1 millimeters.

All F series 8 lug wheels will fit up until they made the superduty it was all 8 on 6.5. Superduty wheels will not fit, lug patterns not the same.

Also Superduty wheels are hub-centric, not lug-centric.
