Respond whether you agree or not. I have owned over thirty five trucks in my lifetime. A few were not Fords. I have to attest right now that the big Ford Bronco is the absolute best I have ever owned for backing a boat down a ramp or backing any trailer anywhere. I recently left the old Bronco at home and pulled my boat with the wife's 2002 F 150 Supercrew. One big mistake. I am so used to the ease of backing with the Bronco. The Supercrew is a fine truck, but it will never replace the old Bronc.
Can't beat that tiny wheelbase and tight turning capability from a "full-size" truck! I agree completely.
Someone asked me one day how I could parallel park the Bronco in a space that was only two and a half feet longer than the truck. My answer was simple. The steering on the Bronco is the same setup that was under all the F-150 pickups. Imagine for a minute that in Fords design department you are trying to design a steering system that will make something the length of an F-150 crew cab with the full 8' bed or longer aftermarket bed, easier to handle. You design something that has a very tight turning raduis so that a 20-22' long truck has a halfway decent turning raduis. Then to make your life simple, you just slap the same steering under a truck as short as the Bronco. Suddenly you have created one of the most nimble full-size trucks on the road.
