hey!.... it was cheap at gamestop theres no fees to put a product on layaway, and you can pay it off as you feel. i kinda just though id go and do 40$ a week and have it by christmas lol. i get about 220$ a week.
I had a PS2. Didnt "WOW" me... Then the PS3 came out with that GOD awful price tag. And ask a game developer, they hate the PS3. Yes it has powerful CPU and GPU, but they are nearly impossible to write software for. Thats why it took so long for PS3 games to take off, and even longer for ones with great graphics; developers were struggling to figure out how to write the new code.
Most people dont care about that, me included. Its the price tag and better internet play I like. But I will admit, XBOX LIVE has been crappy lately.
^^^
Why I dont play it? Time. I have better things to do lol
i find time to play lol. i use to be REALLY bad with the whole gaming thing.. id get home from school and get on the computer until i had to go to bed. i did that since i was 12. junior/senior year is when i kinda just said... eh to it all. but i still manage to get in a couple hours
I used to do that to. But once HS started I found this thing called girls. Man did that change things. Ever since then I dont really play games lol. Once in a while I will get hooked on a game I used to play a lot because of "good ol memories" but that will last a few days and I go back to no games for 2-3 weeks or longer. I owned an xbox before this one and sold it because it just sat. I have thought about selling this one once or twice too.. But I do turn it on once in a while.
I play everyone once in a while, I'm more of a PC gamer. I played MLG and CAL, played TWL for a bit but started running CAL-CS:S Invite and left TWL shortly after. Gaming was bad for me when Halo PC, Counterstrike 1.6 and Counterstrike:Source were big games on the market of gaming worlds. Played in a few invite tourneys, won some money here and there, nothing major. Now I may get on and play some Call of Duty with my boys, but that's usually it. Married now, with kids and other hobbies, I try to not get sucked in to the gaming world anymore. But back in high school, I had nothing but time. All I did was program, build computers and play games.
well here is what i think between a PC and a console... PC makes games alot more easier to play, and you can change the controles and make everything alot easier. PS3 does not. BUT! with a console you can pick up a game off the shelf and it plays, with a PC you have to make sure you have the right requirements to play it. so that after a few years you would need to UPGRADE your PC to play the newer games.
just yesterday i put a PS3 on layaway for myself 160gig slim. so excited!
true, but i don't have to go out and buy the newest console every few years! plus its also alot more backwards compatable (right now i'm playing a DOS hitchhikers guide to the galaxy game and loving it!)
Its probably closer to a draw, even though the computer is more versatile...

well i guess both systems kinda balance out then lol. few hundred bucks on a new PS3 and a few hundred on graphics cards, hard drives etc etc.
