no, it happens all the time. when im giving it gas it does fine, but when im not on the gas it will either choke or completely shut off. replaced the fuel pump so far so good, but now i think i have a misfire... and i have NO idea how to check if a plug or wire is bad
anyone know how to check to see if your spark plugs or wires are workin? replacing the fuel pump did not help. problem with it almost wanting to choke is still there.
Today might be the happiest day of my daughters life. She shot her ELK this morning, one shot with a .243, you couldn't chisel the smile off of her face.
oh and dad was smiling too. her first tag.
Zach, try pulling off one plug wire at a time (at the plug) with the truck running to see if you have a change in the way it runs.... plus the blue sparks are cool at night!

Nice Elk!, dang Bart, I am gonna have to look you up one of these days when I am serious about hunting again. I don't like giving my money to the State for a tag and just camping for a week.

finally! after a week, fixed the problems my truck was having.... so far. turns out maybe my points and condensor were a little tired in the distributer. so, so far its running great.
