not near as good of a pic but yes she got to eat a piece of liver.

they both also got to field dress their ELK (I did help some)

yes it is really dry here
and yes it was my son's first elk. I did get him on some ELK 2 years ago but he didn't shoot anything.

I think it is a 1000 lb winch. as for other game in that area there are deer, elk antelope javalina, ducks, geese (in the winter), dove and quail
