92 tranny problem

I have a 92 F150 v8 automatic, recently I seem to be missing 1st gear. In order to get the truck moving at any speed I have to manually pull the shifter into 1st, and bump it up. There is no shift between 1st gear and 2nd, but there is a shift between 2 and 3rd... but no over drive or 4th gear. Also it is not down shifting when I need it to.

Also, not sure it is related, but rpm gauge sets at 5000tpm all the time. Tranny problem happened before rpm gauge went bad so not sure they are connected.

I have drained and replaced the tranny fluid and filter. Also the OD light no longer functions.

Any thoughts or help would be great.
