Number Dummy !!..PLEASE !!
Driving home yesterday, the plug in the drivers side heat riser blew out... I THINK the correct # is..E4TZ 9A427A. Could you work your magic to see if any are available ?..Thanks..J

Green Sales has a lot of them according to Parts Voice.com. It has been superceeded, but the only places that have a lot of them otherwise, want an arm and a leg (and maybe your retirement)! Assuming your part number is correct, of course. I looked it up by the number you provided.

Ahh, it wasn't the doughnut like you thought. I have one apparently just like it - the bushing is out of one side. Is that the problem? Or, can the two be merged?
Or, can you take out the valve and plug the holes with pipe plugs? Maybe it'll heat up ok w/o the heat riser?

Drumfield..Thanks..I'll call them..and Gary..Yes...It is the bushing that is gone. Suppose I could try to weld cast iron...and hope it holds..But it's apart...so what's another $150 !!!..Thanks again...j
