Went to the local salvage yard yesterday and found an unscarrrrrrrred, like new condition dash pad! But, here's the catch, also saw a rattle from a rattle snake of course! So, I'll go back in about 3 weeks when it gets cold to get it! This was the find of the year, if I say so myself! Dang Snakes!!! It better be there when I go back to get it!!!
I brought up a 79 Ford LTD from Virginia to NY. It had a Copperhead nestled around the Wshield wipers. Good thing it was April, it didn't move too fast.

My luck has been to get it while I am there. There have been several trips where I wanted something but did not have the tools or time. The next day the items were gone on both occasions.
They taste like chicken. Skin and stuff it with chopped onions, tomatoes, spinach, olive oil, and feta cheese, salt n pepper. Preserve the skin to sew on the headliner. Hmmm ya'll might not be ready for primetime.... cuz that might be too backwoods for ya.
Bring a long stick and coax it out of the way... far away.
HIO Silver!!! and the rest of U guys thanks for the info! But, I'm trying again tomorrow! Will post pictures of the Dash Pad (LOL), soon!!! taking my Judge with me also!
Finally went back to get DASH PAD! No Snakes!!! Wait for the cleanup it's going to look nice!!!
Wipe it down with a wet towel a few times, let it dry, then hit it with some interior dye. When they are dry like that, it will soak up three or for applications. I found one that was similar condition as that. I did the above procedure and it looks like a factory brand new one now.
