Brotherhood of the travelling hub zerk
It should be en-route to Neil.
No problem Dean.
Here's our all star lineup:
#1 Trey (A/Ox4)
#3 Stewart (Stewart H)
#2 Neil (njeer1)
#4 Rob ( rb8484 )
#5 Aaron (grec-o-face)
#6 Dean (Bigpapa346)
I'll share your address with Aaron a little closer to the date. I'm guessing each guy will keep the zerk a week or 2 depending on schedules.

Got the zerk today....thanks Sean !......you too Pop and Trey...will try to get it done this weekend ! I have to get the grease.....is that red mobil synthetic the best to use.....also....when do I quit pumping the grease to it ?? how much are you guys putting in ??.......or do I just give it a few pumps and call it good ?? I think unlike most things greaseable......this one won't be easy to tell when it is full....
Neil,
I pumped about 20 times until the zerk popped out of the hole. I pushed it back in and kept pumping another 4 times until it started seeping out of the seam, see photo below and the dirty grease oozing. Keep rotating the hub to ease the entry of the grease past the anti lock brake ring.
The excess grease may make a mess on the inside of your rim, but it's a small price to pay.

Add me to the list!
Neil, You really can't go wrong with the Mobil 1 synthetic grease, I have been using it on nearly everything with excellent results.
Sean, I sent you a PM, I'm in! This is an excellent idea! I had been wanting to do this service for a while now but didn't think messing with a little funnel would be much fun. I hope it makes it out East before the weather turns too ugly.

Any top-notch NLGI #2 lithium-based grease rated at least GC/LB.
No problem Dean.

Thank you Sir, for adding me.
I'm looking forward to doing this service!!! ..... If Rob needs my address, let me know!!!
(Oh, and I'm usually pretty good about taking pics!!!)
I would add to the grease recommendation, to use a lithium-complex base, non-moly-fortified grease.
Ford recommends a moly grease for wheel bearings, but Timken, the hub's manufacturer does not. They actually use Infinitec 152, but it's not available in smaller quantities, so I used what I believe to be the next-best-thing, Delo Grease. It, too, requires a larger buy, but Mobil 1 red synthetic grease is available a lot of places, and only a single tube is the minimum. It has VERY good properties, and easily meets the spec.
