hey sorry for the late responses. yes i will be going through both alabama and georgia...and im not sure. ill have to re-look what route im taking. i will be down tehre for about 2 days or so.

I'm heading down there next weekend for a week (of work). Nothing like getting paid for your mileage.

I am on my way to Houston Texas right now. Just stopped for the night in Mississippi. Hasn't been to bad of a ride from Long Island, think I have gone about 1100 miles or so. I wish I was driving my truck and not my work van. 2005 Dodge Sprinter, it is quite the dog on just about every single hill that's for sure.
I have def. seen quite a few power strokes towing some serious 5th wheels down here. I don't see to much of that back home, but I would say just about every camper was a 5er, not to many tow behinds.
BTW I took 78 west to 81 south, to 20 west down to 59 south. Gonna get down to I 10 and head west to houston.
Hopefully the rest of the trip goes well, about 1700 miles total

I am working at Memorial Hermann Hospital for the next 2 weeks. I guess its just off of 610.
While I am down here I am going to try and find a short bed for my truck. If you have any leads on one that would be awesome!!!!!!!
I think ill either ship it back home, or maybe rent a trailer and drag it back with the sprinter, but that sure would be a miserable drive lol, it cant get out of its own way haha
I would try to do lunch, but I doubt ill have much free time this trip, we are trying to get 2 jobs done in a short amount of time, but we will see.
