Calling all AE/hpop experts

I was playing with my AE tonight doing some WOT data logging. Take a look at these graphs and tell me if I'm interpreting this correctly.
It looks to me that my hpop is weak, My duty cycle maxes out at 65%.
Go easy on me, I just got AE and I'm still learning....

I'm no AE expert, but it looks to me like you're maxing out the IPR at 65% and only getting around 1500 psi ICP to show for it. When you let off the skinny pedal, the injectors don't need as much oil so ICP pressure spikes up since the oil is still flowing but is no longer needed.

Looks like you're in the market for a better HPOP.

How High should it go ???? I would like to know also.
I haven't figured it out yet on my AE, but will look more into it in the morning.
Is that why my truck has low end, mid end and kinda falls off on high end...

SORRY FRANK.. didn't mean to jack your thread.. just would like to know also..

ICP should go close to 3,000 psi for a healthy pump. The IPR Duty Cycle should stay closer to 50% range doing this. That is what a good even pull will show with a healthy system.

Here is a graph to look at. It looks a little messy with all the data. RPM and ICP use the left vertical axis, MPH and IPR DC use the right axis.

Here is the same data only looking at ICP and IPR DC.

I bet it is maxing out at 65% because brian of limiting the duty cycle
But you should be seeing, much higher pressure at that duty cycle

Alas young Frank it is time to say a tearful goodbye to you're trusty old friend she's trying her hardest to keep up! But it's gonna be helping you out in fuel costs alone! a t-500 or Adrenaline may give you a pretty short pay back, with all that moving around you're doing

Would a "modded 17*" HPOP from Terminator, fix this problem as well?

Yes, that would work well unless you have big injectors.

Well said my good fellow. I'm heading to NC this week with the 5'r, but the new pump will have to wait until I get there....Good thing I'm not paying for the fuel.
I ordered a hpop line disconnect tool from Clay with my AE, I had a feeling it would come to this.

You might want to look at changing the HPOP lines if they are the originals. My AE runs before changing out my HPOP look almost identical to what you are seeing. I was dropping to 1700 psi on my 100 hp tune. Now I stay above 2800 psi.

I saw a 3 mpg jump when I installed my adrenaline, onto stage I sticks with similar high duty cycle % as you are seeing but just a smudge mo-better icp numbers! I'm really surprised you aren't Seeing some random P1211's with much IPR movement? I bet you will be soon!
Now abought those 175/146 single shots you were needing for X-MAS? Well MontyClaus says go on and get them too! You were naughty in all the nice ways....

I plan on new lines also. They are on borrowed time.

No problem, actually the T-500 is less expensive than a Bosch 17* replacment. Riffraff Diesel Performance Parts: - Terminator Engineering

Jim, I've been seeing plenty of P1211's & SES lights when I pour the coal to her. ( just figuerd it was a side effect from my chip) Some stage 1 single shots may be under my tree if I have any money left over. I have lots of Begging strips, Pup-peronis, and squeeky ***** to buy...Santa Russell is very good to my pups.
