Please help!!!! Turbo Problem....

Took to shop to have up replaced, turbo cleaned & egr valve cleaned...
my truck is an 03 build with straight 5" exhaust so the turbo has always sounded like a jet turbine...not only can I barely hear the turbo now the truck cant get out of its own way.....obviously I immediately called them and they said they had to reset the turbo and it would get better, Its been 46 miles of city driving and restarts and still acts like it don't have a damn turbo.....I felt for leaks but everything seems good, my down pipe is rubbing now... Am I being impatient or did they do something wrong??? Truck would barely pull my trailer....HELP!!!!

Somethings wrong you can try the turbo reset/relearn in tech folder somwwhere

Its hard to feel a leak when your not making boost at idel so the leak will be small if thats whats up

do you have any gauges need to check EBP<MAP<BARO at KOEO

Boost IDK

but MAP,EBP,BARO need to be within .5psi at KOEO

get the Scan gauge and then you can go thru the values

sounds like you have a very big leak, a map sesnor or hose problem is also possible. something does not sound right.

after reading the turbo relearn procedure from are awesome tech folder "thanks guys", they obviously didnt do it correctly because I run a tuner and told the shop so....I didn't return to stock before the tried to relearn.....Dont know if this is the problem, but i think I will start there in the am...
If that correct procedure dosen't help I going to buy the scangaugeII and look at the boost level for any indication of leaks, what should the boost level be?

To really test boost to see a leak is a very complex procedure you need software that has the ability to control things like the VGT
Scangauge doesnt have that ability you will need like AE or send it to Ford

Cheezit can explain it better than me

no gauges, but do you think the relearn process done wrong could be the issue....it states in the tech folder tuner must be returned to stock before process can be done.....I didnt....as stated earlier I can barely here turbo after 50 miles of driving???

May be a longshot, but it only takes a second to check if the VGT solenoid is plugged in.
