Play in Steering

My 1950 F1 has sloppy steeing. I constantly have to correct drift while I'm driving. it has always had this problem but I was to busy working on eveything else so it didn't aggrevate me.

Had front end aligned, steering box rebuilt and adjusted steering box play take up screw as per shop manual also replaced Pitman Arm.

Any suggestions how I can determind problem?

I had some issues with mine and the people on here might be crusty sometimes but are full of usefull info.
