Wednesday, I worked on a guys semi trailer for 3 hours in the cold and snow replacing a spindle. Job went fine, until it was time for him to pay the bill. It was about 20 outside, but very little wind, and it was snowing the whole time. Took 3 hours to get there in the snow, and the jerk in N.C. (owner) wanted to debate the price! I bumped it 50 bucks at that point, and told him I'd add 100 bucks an hour for any time I have to wait for payment. He shut up and paid!

I assume you have a motto: "Don't F with me, or it'll cost ya more"
I don't mind a little bit of haggling. But when I'm cold and wet, and spent over an hour longer getting there because of the road conditions, I have a short fuse. Not to mention, I was dealing with someone that is not from this country. And these people are well known in thew trucking business for not being nice when it comes to paying. I won't go into it anymore than that.
