Oh and BRYAN
Its almost a hour now past your bed time and your green night light is still on.
Dont go changing you avitar to this---
Just funnin with ya.
Sometimes the light is on but no ones home!
Work will not always give me time to sign out.
I took a law call to tow an idiots Silverado that was parked with the bed sticking out in the road.
In the officers opinion it was a hazard to traffic.
In my opinion it was more money in my next paycheck.
Talk about easy to open. (I had to secure the steering wheel)
It took all of 15 seconds to wedge the door and insert the "Big Easy" allowing me to pull the lock button up.
After the door opened the alarm chirps for 15 seconds or so.
Then the horn starts honking for 30 seconds.
It then shuts down and until the door is opened again, nothing.
I had just shut the gate behind it and put up the paperwork when the phone rang.
It was the driver wanting to get the truck back.
He was at the point of origin of the tow. With the LEOs.
This was 30 minutes from when I had arrived at the tow point.
I had ran the tag and the name on the registration wasn't his.
It is registered to his mother.
We only release to the registered owners.
So momma will have to come to the yard on Easter Sunday with him to retrieve the truck.
Kinda sucks to be him doesn't it.
The officers were a bit interested in the fresh damage to the right front of the truck too.
Most surfaces of weeds have hydrophobic compounds on the leaf surface such as waxes, oils, etc which play a role in the reduction of water loss through the pores (stomates) of the leaves. This tends to repel waterborne herbicides. If you want to make your herbicide application more effective, add a cap or two of a surfactant (a chemical which lowers the surface tension of water) to the mixture in your sprayer. Dawn (the dish soap) works particularly well. The harder your water is, the more surfactant that must be added. Also waiting until plant temperatures rise above 70 degrees helps too, the plants respiration rate doubles with each rise of 10 degrees C and the higher the respiration rate the faster it moves the herbicides to the locations where it does its magic (blocking protein synthesis). Back to our regulalry scheduled programming....
I don't know about the consumer packaged stuff, but practically any Roundup we buy today, even the generic stuff, is fully loaded with a surfactant package, there is no need to add more and research we funded has shown that adding more surfactant actually reduces weed kill. The one exception is the addition of ammonium sulfate fertilizer to buffer the water if your tank mix water is above pH of 6.5 or is very hard water. Surfactant alone will do practically nothing to buffer hard water, ammonium sulfate is by far most effective at a rate of 17 pounds/100 gal of solution.

Glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup) is not a restricted use chemical, anyone can buy it in any of it's many formulations. The Powermax fully loaded 6 pound AI product is currently about $15.50/gallon in bulk, which is probably about what a pint of consumer packaged 4 pound AI product is on the shelf at your local Home Depot.
i get my roundup from the farm.
it is about 100% more powerful as the stuff you buy in the big box stores.
I buy mine at the big box store. But I get the concentrate. 24oz bottle that makes about 6 gallons. I got an inexpensive pump sprayer to use around my house.
Wow.. Work has consumed me over the past week finally got to get back around to repping. I Would like to thank all the people that have repped me over the past week. I Would think you individually but i dont know where to start.
Since I have been off pace and today is EASTER Sunday. I have erased the part of my list that shows who repped me how many times etc. So everyone is equal at this point in time.
Hope everyone has a great day with your families, kids, and grandkids. Its a beautiful day here in Texas today suppose to rain but it might hold out!
