96 Ford Explorer V6 SOHC O2 Sensor
My CHECK ENGINE LIGHT showed its ugly face yesterday. I used my Actron OBD II code reader and found a DTC of P0133 (O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Slow Response). I looked in my Haynes Manual and the manual went through the process of first checking the voltage of the upstream O2 sensor by backprobing the connector and checking the voltage between SIG and a good GROUND. Unfortunately the connector on my Explorer is slightly different from the connector in my Haynes manual. If you look in back of the pigtail that hooks up to the O2 sensor pigtail on my truck, you will see that the connector cantilever lock is at 12 o'clock, a thin indexing protrusion at 9 o'clock, and a thin indexing protrusion at about 2 o'clock. The manual show almost exactly the same except that MY car's 2 o'clock protrusion shows at about 4 o'clock in the manual. I am not sure which wire is SIG, GND, etc...
