Preouts

Ok, I have a JVC deck in my truck and it doesnt have any preouts and I dont feel like getting anouther deck with preouts. Im only using 2 pairs of the 4 pairs of speaker leads coming out of the back of the deck so could i just pop on some rca cable ends and hook that up to my sub amp or is this a bad idea? Is there some sort of differnt kind of flow of power comming out a set of preouts than just the speaker leads?

Purchase a line output converter (LOC) at any BB, CC, stereo shop, etc. Follow the directions that come w/ and you'll be fine

i agree with tempe. Get a line converter or use an amp with speaker level inputs.

i third it...are u just using it for a sub or u gunna add an amp for the speakers also?

im just going to keep the speakers off the deak and and an amp for my sub.
Im just going to use a 8 inch sub. Ill send some pics if the box i made i think its pretty cool. took a while to think of where to put a box in my 69 ford cause the tanks still behind the seat and i dont want to move it.
