I like the idea of the black 02-03 style, but I'm not quite sure how they will look in real life. Simply trying to figure out whether this is something that I will like or whether they will look cheap. I can get clear 02-03 for cheaper, and I'm worried about these black ones just looking like the 02-03 would if I tinted them myself.
There is a truck that parks in a lot a few houses down from me that has smoked lights, I personally do not like them. but his truck is red, and I'm not a big red and black fan. I do like them on silver trucks, and some white trucks though.
I have a silver truck, with a black grill, and its time to replace my old crappy stock lights...I'm just concerned with whether these are going to look like black housings or whether they are going to look like the regular lights that have been tinted black....I'm not looking for tinted lights, but i thought the idea of a black reflective housing would be pretty cool looking...however again not too sure if it effects light output at all
My truck has some eagle eye signal/markers on it, even though they are supposed to replicate OE they look cheap and don't fit properly. Got some Ford 05 lights in a box waiting for me to get busy with the die cutter. I think those Chinese ebay lights won't look so good, maybe save up for some 05 harley lights (black).
yea Ive seen those..not the look im looking for, thats why these caught my eye because they look like they have the black reflector with clear (untinted) lenses over them
yea thats what im looking at...but im not sure if the back side...like right around the actual bulb, is actually black, or whether it is silver...i think it would look bad if it was all black except for the reflector area being silver
