Do u still have thoze heads and intake? I have a 99 2valver but i am trying to see if i can swap them for the 3v. The dealers around here dont know but i know therr is a heck of a differnence in hp and trq. Are they complete? And why do u havd em? Lower end blow? Shoot me a pprice. If they afe not to bad, i may just get em to have them and port andpolish them and sell em if i cant use them.

The power boost would be great. BUT, making the 3V work in a 2V truck is not so easy due to radical changes on the electronic side. With the 3V also came the throttle by wire, 5R110 transmission, re-positioned camshaft sensor, AND the chassis/dash wiring went from discrete to CANbus.
To make the swap, you either need to also upgrade the PCM, transmission, dashboard, wiring harness and still do some creative wiring, OR modify the 3V intake to use the 2V throttle body, change a few connectors and sensors, and figure out how to fix the cam sensor challenge.
It can be done, but definitely NOT a bolt in.
I bought a complete 3V engine from an RV that burned down from a microwave malfunction (just the coach part - engine compartment was untouched) with only 6K miles on it. I had to move fast, so I snagged it in the hope I could make it work in my truck. Turned out to be more work and time than I had so I used only the short block.
If you're still interested, let me know and I'll send you a price via PM. Forum rules say we need to take $$$ discussions private.
