Hi all. I just got my Helm manual on dvd or could be just cd. I don't know yet which. They finally got the ones in for the 2004. I have the F350 6.0l diesel.
I was looking for something else and noticed that under the pcm pages it shows an Auxillary Powertrain Control Module. I can't seem to find out where it is or what it does. I'm new to this manual and probably just don't know how to find it in there. I usually do a search on this forum and find out almost anything I need to know. Not this time. One result came up but that fellow just wanted to know where to get a cheaper one than the dealer $1000.
Anybody know? Just curious right now and hope I don't need one ever.
All it is is a idle controller, let's you set idle speed up or down for aux. Functions most commonly ordered with ambulance prep package!

So then from what you say I probably don't have one in my truck?
Thanks for the reply.
