Okay so i guess I should rebuild the master cylinder on the 54 f600. I cannot find a kit anywhere so I looked in my 48-55 parts book and it says that f2,f3,f5 and f6 master cylinders are all the same from 53-55. Is this correct? The part # is B3T 2140-A The repair kit says that its all the same for f2-f6. Part # A8T 2004-A. It says it consists of a (cup, snap ring, valve kit, and boot) so are the f2 master cylinders really the same as the f6s??
I guess I will order one and figure out the hard way. My book shows a different part # for the repair kit, but I have a really hard time believing that they are all the same since the f600s have 6 wheel cylinders that are a lot bigger than the f250s 4. I think I might have an extra f600 master around somewhere I think I will take it apart if I can find it and measure the bore.
In my catalog, I have a different number yet for the repair kit (A8T-2004-A), but the application is the same (48-55*). My book also shows the master cylinder assembly as the same for 53-55 F-250/350/500/600 (B3T-2140-A). I think you will be fine with the kit Ross found.
*My catalog only goes to 1955, with a cover date of Nov. 54. Part numbers are changed all the time.

Hi. This past summer I rebuilt the master cyl. for my 54 M-350 (Y) and just finished doing the one on my C-500 (W). Both were the same kit. Your 54 F-600 (TH) should also be the same, 1 1/4 in. bore. Raybestos Part Number MK1. I paid $21.16 plus tax.
I get most of my parts from a local independent supplier. So far they have got me all the wheel cylinders, hydro-vac and master cyl. kit for the C-500 and the same for the M-350 with no problem same day or over night delivery.
