Installing a 460 V8 engine
Having trouble fitting the engine to the transmission and engine mounts. Everything is just inches away, but I just can't manage those last few inches. It's not hitting anything - it's just a question of alignment.
I figure I'd better pick up an engine leveler for my next try.
Any suggestions?

Well, if you don't have a leveler, but do have an extra person (with some upper body strength, heh heh) laying on a creeper underneath, that can sometimes help (I'm assuming that you're installing the engine and transmission together).
But otherwise, yes, the engine leveler is the way to go. They should include one with every engine hoist IMO!
