Looking at a 94 EB - Questions
Hey guys, normally over in the Dentside forums, but came across a pretty nice Bronco while browsing craigslist tonight. I have posted a link for reference below.
Any major issues to be aware of with these models? I assume this model came with a 5.0 and not the 5.8 but is that individual truck specific?
Does the rear bench in these trucks fold down?
I am seriously considering selling my Dent if I pick this up, the only reason I have the dent is to be able to "haul" things and pick up larger items, so I would most likely want to cram stuff in here from time to time.
I see from another similar thread that it looks like the truck is a little on the high side as far as price right?
Thanks for the help fellas.

The rear seat does fold, it can also be taken out quite easily. Also, both engines where factory options for the Bronco. Look out for some rust in the wheel wells and the tailgate, check the TTB for abuse, when you go see the truck, ask the owner to have the truck cold (or go early in the morning), see how the engine behaves when turned over, see if there are any fumes or smells, drive it and see that that E4OD is shifting nicely (rebuild price $2500), check the bottom for any fluid/oil leaks, other than that, just check it the way you would check any used (16yo) car. If it has cruise control, see that the recall has been taken care of.
The truck you posted seems in excellent condition and well cared, ask for the maintenance log and bills, try to haggle, but if the truck is as good as it looks and has no rust, 5K could be a fair price, even though several fellas in this forum have got really nice trucks for up to $1500 less.

Twin Traction beam. Thats the Front suspension set-up. Also a note on this truck. It has Auto Hubs, those are known to be problematic. That truck looks real nice, but i wouldn't pay $5500 for it.
Sounds like those mirrors and weather stripping are something you will have to install yourself.

I have been going back and forth with the seller and it seems like this truck hasn't been Off-Roaded, it was his weekend rig since the spring.

try offering him less, alot of times people will bite on a lower offer, that price seems alittle steep regaurdless its in really nice shape (pictures are worth 1000 words tho) make sure you really check it over before dropping that much cash

The truck looks nice but the pictures arent the greatest. If its real clean, i think the price is very reasonable. When i was looking, there wasnt a truck i found under 4k id park in the driveway. If you want something real nice, well cared for, not cut up and rusty, thats what you pay. Around Detroit anyways.
