Help - hydroboost brake conversion now ABS light on
Did the hydro boost conversion last night but the master cylinder doesn't have the plug in for the ABS on it? Any ideas what to do? I'm not sure what year the master cylinder is from. Do later obs F superduty have ABS on the hydro boost master cylinder?
Might of solved it. I took the sensor out of the vacuum master cylinder and just plugged it into the harness and light is off. Will need to drive it some to try it.
I drove it around 8 miles yesterday and the light never came on. So right now it seems like just plugging in the sensor is all it needs. Maybe when working correctly it completes the circuit.
Swap was fairly simple. I couldn't get any help on making sure the lines are correct but seems to work the way I got it, which may be correct.
So far I like the consistent pedal but feels like I need more effort pushing on it. not a lot more though.
