2000 Expedition knocking/whining noise

Hi all,
Have a 2000 Expedition 5.4 I just started hearing a knocking kind of whining noise recently from front end. The trans is shifting fine and is not slipping. I looked underneath the truck this morning and did not find anything. I am going to continue looking but in the mean time does anyone have any suggestions ?

Bad pully, idler or tensioner and sometimes the alternator pully bearing going bad is the first thing i would check
